The UNIREC qualification.
At the moment the only people who award certificates for professionalism in the sector of credit collecting, in accordance with European Regulations are C.E.P.A.S., a non-profit making association, confirmed by SINCERT (registration no. 031C) and UNIREC.
C.E.P.A.S. (www.cepas.it) established on 29 November, 1994, with the aim of offering a service to the Italian economic system, issuing certificates to professionals who offer the greatest guarantee in both ability and experience, based on very high professional qualifications.
Amongst the founder members are: The Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Skilled and Agricultural workers in Rome (C.C.I.A.A.), the Italian Industrial Federation and Professional Services and High Value – Added Service Industry (F.I.T.A. Italian Manufacturers’ Association).
The National Commission for Research (C.N.R.), The Association for New Technology, Energy and Environment (E.N.E.A.), and the National Italian Certification Association (U.N.I.) are all members by right.
From September, 1996 C.E.P.A.S. has participated in I.A.T.C.A. (the International Auditor and Training Certification Association) – the only Organisation in Italy to do so.
